The main barn is full of growing and healthy horses. The horses are in continual training (when not in therapeutic riding or Hippotherapy). They have regular veterinary and dentist visits; worming and other specific medications; and regularly scheduled shoeing for everyone by our wonderful farrier, Don Ploss. There is plenty of hay and grain; comfortable bedding in the stalls; ample green pastures to graze upon; and secure gates and fencing. Did we leave anything out? Oh, yes, there is all the tack, blankets, horse care products, tractor, trucks and more. As you can imagine, the horse side of MTR is expensive! Your help is needed.

• It costs about $10,000 a year to keep ONE of our horse therapists in top condition to serve our clients.
• Our healthcare plan for each horse therapist costs almost $1,000 a year.
• A single bale of delicious hay costs over $7 and each horse eats four to five a week.
